As professional swimming instructors at Aquaskills we believe that swimming as one of the best exercises to increase flexibility and range of motion as well as a boost ones cardio fitness because swimming is a full body exercise with aerobic breathing.With swimming one will increase their range of motion, over come joint pain due to arthritis and runners knee or back problems due to poor posture or from injuries.

 

Swimming is a zero impact exercise to the joints but the water's resistance makes it a great work out without the jarring effects on the joints.Swimming is a great anecdote for patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) otherwise known as runner's knees and orthopedic injuries as well as for osteoarthritis (OA) or rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or carpel tunnel syndrome and body stiffness. You can burn a lot of calories while swimming continuous laps and your joints are fully supported so no worry for high impact injuries.Great blood circulation is going to make you look and feel great and reduce stress.The more we oxygenate our muscles the more we gain flexibility.
